If you do not know if your facility or structure has asbestos containing materials (ACM), we can assist you with making an assessment.

Types of Asbestos Containing Materials

There are many types of asbestos includes chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite, tremolite, anthophyllite, actinolite, and any of these minerals that has been chemically treated and/or altered. Asbestos can be found in many common building materials including:

  • Transite siding or roof panels
  • Vinyl tiles – many times the VCT containing asbestos but so does the mastic
  • Piping or boiler breaching insulation
  • Gaskets
  • Electrical components
  • Fireproofing / Spray-on Coatings
  • Roofing and flashing
  • Plaster, cement, putties and caulk
  • Ceiling tiles

TBC has the trained personnel and specialized equipment to safely and properly abate these ACMs. All removed asbestos is properly manifested and disposed ( a report is provided to each client).

Specialized Abatement Equipment

In order to safely, quickly and effectively remove asbestos materials, TBC has a wide variety of specialized asbestos removal equipment. HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, decontamination units/showers and air sampling equipment are just some of the equipment TBC utilizes for removal of ACM. We also have a large fleet of dustless flooring removal units that can safely abate asbestos floor tiles and the associated mastic.

Asbestos Surveys and Assessments

In most cases, a client will need to obtain an asbestos survey in order to confirm or disprove the presence of ACM. Governing agencies will not issue a demolition permit without a survey or validation that asbestos has been removed. TBC is here to assist clients during their initial project assessments as well as clients that may be going through a due diligence phase of property purchase evaluation. Feel free to contact us to discuss your project scope and requirements.
